Arizona Fall Hunts for Big Game The drawings for the Arizona Big Game fall hunts take place in March and July. Application deadlines are usually in February and June. Elk, Coues Deer, Mule Deer, Antelope, Sheep, Buffalo, and Turkey permits are distributed to hunters during the Fall draw. There are sometimes leftover permits available on a first come first served basis. There are usually no Bull Elk, Antelope, Mule Deer, Buffalo, or Sheep permits left over. If you are serious about hunting in Arizona, give our licensing service a try. We can make sure that you are selecting the right units. Elk are the most popular Big Game animal in Arizona. But great hunting is also available for Antelope, Deer, Sheep, Buffalo and Turkey. Each of these can be a great experience with the chance to take a trophy of a lifetime. The fall hunts start in August and end on December 31st.
