NEW OPPORTUNITY 2007!

Arizona has changed their schedule for 2007 fall hunt drawings. Starting in January 2007, you can apply for all Elk and Antelope hunts. The results should be available in March.

How does this help? Up until now, the results were not available until mid-July, giving both us and the hunter little time to scout and prepare for the early hunts that take place in August and September.

Now, those successful in the draw will have at least 3 more months to plan, scout, and prepare for their hunts.

Desert Bull Scouting and Maps will now have more time to thoroughly prepare your summer long scouting packages for all Elk and Antelope hunts. We will start scouting your hunt immediate upon contracting us, so the earlier the better.

For a fraction of the cost of even a drop camp style hunt, we can direct you to a great location within your hunt unit to find a trophy bull or antelope buck.

These tags are so hard to draw, that using your hunting time driving around the unit one or two days before your hunt is not going to do justice to the great hunt you have been given. Scouting is the key to having a successful hunt.

Below is the outline of what you will get with your Desert Bull Summer Scouting Package.

WE ONLY TAKE ONE CLIENT FOR EACH SPECIES OF THE SUMMER SCOUTING PACKAGES!

2007 Multi Day Scouting Packages

WE DO NOT ACCOMPANY THE HUNTER IN THE FIELD AT ANY TIME.

We are exited to be continuing our Multi Day scouting package for 2007. Our regular “per day “scouting packages have proven to be very popular and we will continue offer them for all species. Our new program will be offered to only one Elk hunter, one Antelope, and one archery deer hunter this fall, 2007.

Instead of the hunter picking his day for us to scout for him or her, we will be scouting over a period of several weeks. By doing this, we feel we can give the hunter a better overall understanding of the unit.

Right after the draw results are announced, we will start scouting for the Elk and Antelope clients and will continue to scout the hunters’ unit until approximately 10 days prior to the hunt. At that point, we will compile all the video, photographs, journals, GPS numbers and maps into a final report and mail it out to the hunter. You will also be updated shortly after every scouting trip we make to let you know where we went and what we saw.

**Remember, if you are hunting with a partner or two, or even more, you can split the cost. Do you know a guide that will take 4 Elk, Deer or Antelope hunters for the same price as one?**

Please email for a price quote at anytime, as long as you know the unit and hunt you want to hunt. If you use our Licensing Service, we will credit you the full price toward this scouting package if you draw a tag.

Archery Deer Hunters

***WE SOLD OUT IN 2006 and 2007!***

For the archery deer hunter, we will start scouting in April. Tags are over the counter, so no need to worry about drawing a specific unit.

We will document everything on video, maps, GPS, written journal and photographs.

We can scout areas for archery Mule Deer, Coues Deer, or places that hold both. We can home in on a unit of your choice or you can let us look around a number of different areas.

Just like our daily rate scouting packages, the client will receive maps, video, photographs, GPS coordinates, habitat conditions, etc. We can also provide locations for camping; recommend hotels and restaurants, etc.

Because we will be scouting over a period of several weeks, we will also be using trail cameras to keep track of water holes, trails, wallows, fence crossings, etc when applicable.

Elk Hunters

We will take one elk hunter for any elk season. We will start scouting for this elk as soon as you sign up and continue to scout your unit until approximately 2 weeks before your opening day. Those of you using our licensing service, will have the first chance to sign up.

We will be using trail cameras to monitor water holes, fence crossings, trails to bedding areas, etc. You get all these photos as a part of your scouting package. This is a feature that we cannot offer our daily rate customers.

Antelope Hunters

We will also be contracting with one Antelope hunter for the fall of 2007. As soon as you sign up, we will start scouting for your buck. Because the draw dates are so close to the opening day of the earliest antelope hunts, we start scouting immediately and you will get your first email report within 10 days and the full report, with video, maps, GPS numbers, etc at least 10 days before your opening day.

We will also be using trail cameras to keep track of water holes, trails, wallows, fence crossings, for our Antelope clients.
